Saturday 9 am – 5 pm
Spinning and weaving demonstrations throughout the day.
"Fiber Art Circles" all day! Join some experienced fiber artists to get some hands-on practice spinning, weaving, knitting, etc. This informal setting offers an opportunity for fiber artists of all levels to learn from each other.
Crochet with Amy: Amy Krum of Crochet and Chardonnay, will answer questions and give demonstrations throughout the day. If you have a crochet project you are stuck on, come ask Amy.
Sons of Norway Sheep to Shawl Demonstration: At 9 am a sheep will be sheared and throughout the day they will take you through the steps of skirting, washing, carding, spinning, and weaving the wool resulting in a handmade shawl. Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the day to win the shawl. The drawing will take place at the Sons of Norway dinner following the event (the winner does not have to be present).

You do not need to pre-register for activities. Come by any time and check it out. No experience needed.
Fiber Arts Showcase
Open Saturday 10 am - 4 pm
An exhibit of handmade wearable and decorative fiber art. View the extraordinary range of items that can be created using natural materials. Entries may include items constructed of handmade fabrics (knitted, crocheted, woven, felted or any other technique which forms a stable fabric) or pieced works (quilts or other textile projects).
